Self-assessment for psychological stress (REVIEW)
Purpose:
To introduce the course objectives, expected outcomes, training plan, training content and exercises, and work-related stress symptoms. During this module, participants interact with each other, share training expectations, complete baseline psychological self-assessments, discuss assessment insights, and complete exercises.
Objectives:
- Explain different theories of workplace stress
- Describe the symptoms and signs of workplace stress
- List the risk factors for workplace stress
- Understand where participants stand on the stress and wellbeing spectrum
Learning Outcomes:
At the end of module 1, participants should be able to:
- Understand stress and the factors that cause stress
- Identify stressors, triggers, and early warning signs
- Articulate their work and life stressors
- Understand the various levels of stress
- Self-assess current levels of stress and what informs their reaction to stress
