Mr. Abojedi Ph.D., RP, CCC. has an in-depth knowledge of child and family dynamics. He completed the APT and CACPT certified training in play therapy at the Rocky Mountain Play Therapy Institute in Canada. As a Canadian Certified Counselor and play-based psychotherapy practitioner in Canada, he is doing extensive emotional processing work with children exposed to long and extensive trauma, unstable living conditions, violence, and bullying.
Further, Mr. Abojedi is a community-based program evaluator for children and families and an assessment tools developer. He developed a computerized profiling system for MMPI-2 and BASC2 in 2012. Mr. Abojedi was selected as a reviewer for the second edition of the Dimensional Play Therapy Model book, among other international play therapy practitioners.
In the last 5 years, he has conducted specialized play therapy training to 500+ psychologists and counselors in several countries, including Palestine, Saudi Arabia, Dubai, Bahrain, and Jordan. Also, Mr. Abojedi works as a reviewer and editorial board member for the Journal of Educational and Developmental Psychology in Canada.
